Where it all began
Thomas was born and grew up on the family farm here at Ecton where the first shop was opened in September 2014. The farm is a family business with his father Robert. Thomas married Chloe in 2016 and they have a daughter called Hattie. They run an Equestrian centre alongside the farm business which is predominately breeding beef and sheep to supply the shops and other suppliers of quality meat.
Their sheep and cattle are grass-fed all year round, grazing the fields from spring through to the autumn and housed through winter feeding on grass silage that they make here at East Lodge Farm.
East Lodge Farm is a Farm assured holding which means it’s got the Red tractor approval.
